Phuket 2014
Thailand has been a strong supporter of OCA events for many years, and the Thais will break new ground in 2014 when they host the popular Asian Beach Games for the first time in the resort paradise of Phuket. This will be the 4th ABG, following Bali in 2008, Muscat in 2010 and Haiyang, which is set to host the third edition in June 2012.

Organisers have proposed November 14-23, 2014, as the dates for the 4th ABG, although these have yet to be confirmed by the OCA, along with 17 sports. The slogan is “Celebrate Charming Sunshine”. The two centres for hosting the 4th ABG will be Patong Beach and Karon Beach.
